CONTENT CREATION
When we started running the project, more and more people became interested in both what we were doing and the substance itself. And since sharing is caring, this called for some social media. I've planned and created content to post every single day about the subject on Instagram, as you can see below. This included designing, photography and writing captions.
TABULA RASA
September 2017 | Tabula Rasa is a project i've worked on together with my fellow student Sheila Martina. It is a project which started out as a small but ambitious idea of changing the perspective of people around us regarding usage of so called 'magic mushrooms', which is a psychedelic.
In the Netherlands recreational use of magic mushrooms, specifically the sort referred to as 'truffles' or 'philosopher's stones' are legalised, and they can be purchased in places called Smartshops.
It became a platform on which we've been able to share information about usage of the substance as a tool to grow in terms of personal and spiritual development.
We aim to show people that using these substances can be a positive thing and could potentially mean more to us regarding our personal development than we might expect. It at the least might hold more for us in store than just 'a night of fun with friends'.
While working on this project, Sheila and I have together been entirely responsible for the concept of the project, project management, overal design, content creation, social media, production from A to Z and publishing.
TABULA RASA | PODCAST
One of the best ways to get your story out there is by telling! For that reason we began a podcast, a platform to discuss the matter together and invite guests to pick their brains.
This was a fun learning experience where i could not only prepare and create content, but also play around with some hardware and learn some new hardskills. With the help of Cas van der Duin I created a multi-camera and microphone recording setup, and i've executed all the editing required for the podcasts before publishing.
